How we work
Know the numbers before you commit.
We take a project from a need to a Council decision, then through construction and handover. Each stage ends with something you can act on.
Four stages
1. Define the need
A clear statement of the need, a space program or scope built with the people who will use it, the site checked for risks, and options compared with an early (Class D) cost estimate.
2. Council decision
One decision package: scope, cost range, schedule, delivery method, risks and funding options, in plain terms Council can defend.
3. Procure and build
The delivery method chosen, the RFP issued and evaluated, and the contracts managed, with regular cost and schedule reports.
4. Handover
Commissioning, deficiencies closed, records handed to your operations team and lessons learned recorded.
See which services support each stage.
A phased approach
We start with a small first phase on a fixed, agreed budget. It defines the scope, the cost range and the site risks. You commit to design and construction only once those numbers are known.
Example: on the Jamieson Road Fire Hall, Phase 1 delivered a Council-ready package in 16 weeks.
What Council gets
- A scope the users recognize, with the options that were considered.
- A cost range from an independent estimate, with site costs checked.
- A schedule and a recommended delivery method.
- The main risks and how they will be managed.
- Funding options, including grants that fit the project.
